That's understandable that money can make us free. But what to do if someone has no money? The only one way is to receive the credit loans and just commercial loan. - MinervaFORBES

Something I do to make my 6 year old daughter feel special is treat her to a night on the town. We dress up and go out to eat and to a movie. The night is all about her and she is queen bee that evening. - Suzanne

My name is Meagan. I try to make special events really memorable for my five year-old. For example, he lost his first tooth last week and the tooth fairy brought him some worksheets, a tooth cleaning chart and sprinked "fairy dust" (glitter and sequins) down the (wood floor) hallway to the front door. He was soooo excited that she'd brought activities in addition to the gold $1 coin. I also gave him a Big Boy wallet for his coins and $5 for his first tooth. He really felt special and it was a great memory for us. I found your blog through Facebook and probably through Ms. Single Mama's friend list. - PT-LawMom

What a great contest!

My kids are all older but to give them that "special" feeling we just spend one on one time together. it gives them the chance not to be overrun by someone else and they have a chance to talk to me about things that are going on in their life at school or friends.

I heard about this site in my single blogging moms group at Mom Bloggers Club :) - Nessa

Hi
My name is Nadia and this is what I do special for my daughter. Everynight we say our prayers before bedtime. My 5 year old daughter sais hers which is short and sweet. She then pretends to sleep and thats my que to start mine. So I pray out loud giving thanks to God for her. I go on to say everything I love about her , how she means the world to me and how luckey and thankful I am to have her in my life. Even though my eyes are closed when I pray I know she is looking and smiling at me!
I found this website through facebook and I am glad I did. - Nadia Noman

Hello, I found this site via Facebook one night while wondering if there were other women in a similar situation that I could relate to and who know first hand what it takes to be a successful single mom. Since my son does not have a father figure in his life I try to play both roles as much as possible. I teach him to play sports, fish, hike and how to play in the mud! LOL I try my best to teach him how to be a rough and tough 4 1/2 year old little boy. I have found this site to be very useful in the short time that I have been a member of it and I am excited about the future. - Liz Hartley

Hello! I'd like to be entered in this giveaway. :)

I always go to the park with my daughter. She really enjoys going there with her and her friends, so I make sure to take time out of my day - everyday - to head there with her. :) - Stephanie

I could really use some help:) I'm trying to make 2009 the year I reach my creative goals and provide a good example to my son that you CAN do anything you set your mind to-Now that my son has gotten older (he just turned 16) it's harder to get him to spend time with me, or even talk to me, but I always let him know that I love him (I say it often) and give him hugs (when he lets me) - trish

Hey! I found your blog most recently through Wondermom, but I think I visited before through a different blog (can't remember which though). Did the site recently get a makeover?

I don't know that I do anything specific to make my little man feel special. I just try to live everyday making sure he knows I love and cherish him above everything else. - singleworkingmommy

Thank you for being such a great resource for single moms.

My name is Leah and what I do to make my 3 year old son feel special is to give him some totally focused attention each day. I don't answer the phone or get distracted doing other things. We call it "special time" and it's just magical.

I found your blog through Leap and the Net Will Appear. - Leah

With 2 little ones so close in age, needing me equally and being stretched really thin, the best thing I do to make them feel special is "date night". My mom (or sister or friends)will swap the kids. It gives me one night alone with each of them and they get one night alone with a special relative. It makes them feel special on both days! - Ryan

I am so excited for you! ;D I have been waiting patiently for you book to come out ever since we became friends on Facebook!
Can't wait to read it!
To make my kids feel special...I have a 15 minute rule at my house... The first 15 minutes is with mom and telling me how there day went at school or how there weekend was with there father. It makes them feel special because this is their time that i give them my undivided attention. Kids love to share if we remember it is not all about being to busy to listen! Thanks for the opportunity for the free book! Debbie - Debbie Mortenson
